We're a group of beginner/intermediate guitarists getting together to play in the U Street/Columbia Heights/ Dupont area. This group’s purpose is to organize regular acoustic jam sessions in a supportive and friendly environment. This is not an open mic. As I see it, the purpose of an open mic is for an individual to prepare a 15-20 min performance and present it to an audience.
